Buddy bonds and mentoring were the main focus of January’s family night. In honor of National Mentor Month we had multiple bonding activities throughout the entire club, including an all ages Bingo game, buddy gifts (wooden, painted hearts) and a two man buddy ball activity for all ages. The whole West End House team was very passionate about the mentoring celebration, helping the youth to build on present bonds and also create some new connections with both staff and volunteers. The evening’s activities were successful in getting everyone to socialize and feel more comfortable around the club.
