At West End House we are redefining what it means to be a Boys & Girls Club. We foster a safe and secure environment for our young people, but that’s only the beginning. We are helping young people and teens from all over Boston progress and graduate from high school, and then pursue college and career pathways. At West End House, youth are learning about healthy lifestyles and eating nutritious meals. They are expressing themselves creatively, performing in bands and dance troupes, and displaying works of art. Our young people are completing their school assignments and making academic strides. They are discovering who they are and how to reach their full potential. Day after day and year after year, West End House is making a difference for the young people of Boston and their families.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL STAFF
Relationships are at the heart of everything West End House does and we truly believe that when you are surrounded by people who truly care about you, you are at your best. To build these relationship that will ultimately lead to positive outcomes for each young person, we use a strength based approach. We focus on what is right with the young person and build from there. We meet the young person where they are and celebrate progress. We offer honest feedback, but try in all cases to promote positive behaviors rather than trying to prevent negative ones. Finally, we provide opportunities for a young person to experience success every day.
Annual membership
- Since the start of the pandemic, we have waived annual fees for members.
Membership includes:
- Access to all year-round programs and activities (There are no fees for any program or activities)
- Healthy snacks and dinner offered daily during the school year and breakfast, lunch and snack during the summer
- Free, special events for families

Elementary School* (Ages 8 and 9) Club Members
Monday – Friday 2:30 – 6:00 PM
Middle School Club Members
Monday – Friday 2:30 – 7:00 PM
High School Club Members
Monday – Friday 2:30 – 8:00 PM
*West End House welcomes Youth Age 7 with an older Sibling. For siblings , please fill out a new application, Rather than a renewal application.
Summer Program Information 2024
All Programs run Monday, July 1st – Friday, August 15th
Young people should arrive at the West End House on time and ready to engage.
Club members ages 7-12:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm
Club members ages 13-18:
Monday-Wednesday 8:30am-6pm
Thursday – Friday 8:30am-9pm*
*only for teen night trips
Activities in education, fitness, swimming and the arts
Breakfast, lunch, and snack provided
