West End House’s Education team and Sanofi Genzyme volunteers hosted our first Annual Battle of the Brains on Tuesday as part of February vacation week. In the past, the Club has organized Fitness Days where kids participated in a number of different stations with different athletic activities. We wanted to take that same model and apply it to creative academic activities. With the help of seven volunteers, ten teams of kids rotated through five different academic-focused challenges, including a marshmallow and straw tower building challenge and hands-free cup stacking competition organized by the volunteer team from Sanofi. The kids and volunteers had a great time.
