LUIS SANTIAGO is Commander of the 78th US Army Band and the Assistant Director of Global Initiatives of Berklee College of Music. His wife, Nadine Martinez, is the Director of Visual & Performing Arts at West End House. Luis has dedicated his life to two things: empowering youth through music and serving his country. Luis says, “Running the Boston Marathon for West End House perfectly unites my two passions.” |

BRINDEY MARINE has been volunteering at West End House for six years through our Reading and Homework Buddies programs. A Massachusetts native, Brindey discovered West End House through the Junior League of Boston. She is running the 2017 Boston Marathon in honor of her sons and the girls she has mentored and watched grow into young women at West End House: leena, Neila, and Breanna. |

JOHN HUMPHREYS runs in memory of his father, Gary. “My dad was and continues to be a important influence in my life. He passed away in October 2016 and I am reminded of him each and every day. He always encouraged me to get out there and challenge myself.
