What should I do once I’m registered?

  • The primary election will take place on September 1, 2020.
  • The General (Presidential) Election will take place on November 3, 2020.

If you vote in person, be sure to wear a mask and practice social distancing. You can also apply to vote by mail, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As long as you are registered to vote by October 24, 2020 you may apply to vote by mail. Your vote-by-mail application must be received by October 28, 2020. If you did not get your application to vote by mail, you can download an application HERE

What happens at the polling place?

You do not need to bring anything. You simply check in, mark your ballot, check out, then cast your ballot. More details on the process of voting in person can be found HERE.

Please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

What if I have recently moved?

You must update your voter registration every time you move. If you have moved, you may update your registration by filling out a new voter registration form.

  • You can update your registration address HERE
  • If you move after the deadline to register to vote, you should wait to update your registration until after the date of the election and vote at your previous polling place instead.  State law allows you to vote from a previous address in a state election for up to six months after you have moved, as long as you have not registered elsewhere.
