Lauren Cohen

Community Engagement Coordinator

Lauren Cohen brings more than four years of experience in nonprofit volunteer leadership roles. Prior to joining the West End House team, Lauren assisted with mental health disparities research at Massachusetts General Hospital. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and public health from Brandeis University. At Brandeis, she was an active student leader for the Big Siblings program matching undergraduate students with elementary schoolers to form and sustain 1:1 mentoring relationships. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, going for walks/runs, and volunteering. In June 2023, she was recognized as Volunteer of the Year at Yachad New England for her dedication to their programs fostering inclusion for community members with disabilities. She is enthusiastic about positive youth development and is looking forward to getting individuals and organizations involved with the West End House.
