West End House has secured five entries into the 2026 Boston Marathon on April 20, 2026 and is accepting applications from athletes who believe in our mission to inspire and empower all youth to achieve their full potential.

Each runner is expected to achieve a minimum fundraising goal of $15,000. West End House will announce its 2026 Marathon Team on November 1, 2026.

Fees and Fundraising Requirements

• Strong preference given to applicants with the ability to raise at least $15,000
• $385 non-refundable Marathon registration fee (paid to the B.A.A.), and a $250 Premium Bib fee (paid to West End House upon acceptance to the team)

About Team Dawnn for Peace:

West End House’s Dawnn for Peace” Marathon Team plays a vital role in funding programs that support West End House youth. Dawnn Jaffier was a lifelong member of the West End House whose passion was improving the lives of young people across Boston. Before becoming an innocent victim of violence, Dawnn was a mentor and role model for hundreds of young people at the West End House and beyond. Learn more about Dawnn’s life and legacy here.
