Our elementary school youth had a blast Friday afternoon participating in a Health and Fitness Carnival provided by a fantastic crew from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. The stellar Blue crew of 29 spent their 8th Annual Service Day at West End House creating a 4 station obstacle course and and some creative and fun carnival games. The obstacle course had our young people making their way to the gym by jumping, crawling and winding there way around our Clubhouse. The gym was then full of carnival games that focused on getting active and learning about healthy lifestyles. Games included ring toss, tiny bowling, knock down, a football throw, guessing the sugar content of various foods and beverages and so much more. Fun was had by all!
