West End House was honored to be a community partner for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusett’s 9th annual Service Day on Friday. Thank you to the 26 volunteers who helped prepare for and run our 3rd annual Fitness Carnival.

The event’s aim is to create a fun and special environment for our kids to get active and learn about healthy lifestyles. Carnival booths included a card game teaching kids about our food policy, a Bingo table at which members learned about healthy ways to deal with stress, and a competition in which members had to determine what food group certain foods belong in.

The day was a huge success, thanks in large part to the efforts of our Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts volunteers and the great energy they brought to the day! #ServiceDay19
