On Thursday, January 23rd The Foundation To Be Named Later and Hot Stove Cool Music All Stars teamed up to host a teen songwriting workshop at West End House. Talented, teens from West End House, Zumix, and Girls Rock Campaign Boston, were given the opportunity to hone their songwriting and lyrical abilities with some skilled and accomplished musicians. The evening’s challenge involved the group collaborating to write song lyrics, to the tune “Sunflower,” by Post Malone. Teens worked in our Music Clubhouse lyric writing room while the band set up on the Clubhouse stage. The version of the song that evolved from the collaboration was a piece to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hot Stove Cool Music. The teens will be performing this musical piece live at the Hot Stove Cool Music Concert at the Paradise Rock Club on Saturday, February 8th. champavo.com

We can’t wait to see this collaboration take form live on February 8th!
