While we were unable to host our traditional Halloween Family Night dinner and activities we could not let the holiday pass by without a little ghoulish fun and games. This year staff hosted a Fall Fest for our Learning Hubs complete with a giant bouncy slide.
While we had hoped to have the festival outside, unfortunately the weather had other plans so we moved the games portion into The New Balance Foundation Pavilion. The cold weather couldn’t dampen our spirits though and the whole Club was full of fangtastic energy. Some staff even dressed up with hats, face paint and more!
Fall Fest games included ring toss, can knockdown, egg on a spoon races, mask decorating and pumpkin painting! Our youth members rotated through the activities with their Learning Hub. Younger members from each of our 5 learning hubs participated throughout the afternoon and then our teens joined in on the fun later that evening.
There was music, laughter, plenty of treats and zero tricks at this year’s Fall Fest. Once each hub member participated in the games the whole group went outside and raced down the huge slide set up in our backyard in Ringer Park. Even staff had a turn going down the slide! Everyone had a howling good time!
