Seven West End House middle-schoolers spent an entire week in the “happiest place on earth” and Universal Studios Florida thanks to a generous grant from Rodman Disney for Kids through the Dorchester Boys & Girls Club. Selected for their outstanding academic performances, Alondra, Sanyla, Amani, Steven, Juan, Edrei, and Giovanny enjoyed the scarier attractions at Disney and Universal such as the Tower of Terror, The Hulk, Rockin’ Roller Coaster, and Space Mountain. Visual Arts Director Lindsey Kocur accompanied our youth on the trip.
