On Tuesday, February 23, sixteen West End House 1st through 6th toured the Multi Robot Systems Lab in the Engineering Product Innovation Center at Boston University. The Lab is a “playground” for graduate engineering, manufacturing, and robotics programs. Lead by Academic Support Coordinator Aaron Sarracino, and a diverse group of Boston University students, West End House children drove rovers, tested virtual reality headsets, and controlled a human-like robot.
Thanks to an exciting partnership with the Boston University Bioinformatics Department, West End House youth will return to Boston University monthly to explore STEM research in a hands-on way.
