On Thursday, June 21st the Boston Celtics and New Balance Foundation stopped by to help us unveil our sparkling new gymnasium. Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens lead a basketball clinic for our middle school aged youth. A formal speaking program followed, which included West End House CEO Andrea Howard and Board President Andrew Musto, as well as West End House Board Member & New Balance VP Kassia Davis. The event closed with a dunk show featuring Lucky their mascot. Renovation of the gym including the replacement of our 46-year-old gym floor was fully funded by The Boston Celtics. The renovation was one part of West End House’s comprehensive $23.5 million Expect More Campaign, of which the New Balance Foundation was the lead sponsor.
