On Thursday, June 21st the Boston Celtics and New Balance Foundation stopped by to help us unveil our sparkling new gymnasium. Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens lead a basketball clinic for our middle school aged youth. A formal speaking program followed, which included West End House CEO Andrea Howard and Board President Andrew Musto, as well as West End House Board Member & New Balance VP Kassia Davis. The event closed with a dunk show featuring Lucky their mascot. Renovation of the gym including the replacement of our 46-year-old gym floor was fully funded by The Boston Celtics. The renovation was one part of West End House’s comprehensive $23.5 million Expect More Campaign, of which the New Balance Foundation was the lead sponsor. Thank you Boston Celtics and New Balance for supporting West End House and our amazing young people!
