A Night of Thanksgiving Honoring Bill “Snoopy” Margolin

Bill “Snoopy” Margolin has served West End House for 45 years this December – first as a camper, then as a camp counselor, and most importantly as its Executive Director. On Wednesday, November 2nd, over 150 West End House alumni, staff, friends, and family reunited at the Stockyard Restaurant in Brighton to share their love and admiration for Bill and to honor his incredible legacy to the community.

The speaking program included West End House alumnus, Board Member, and Event Committee Chair Gerry Walsh; West End House CEO Andrea Howard; alumna Jani Rodriguez; former staff member Valerie Bean; and the man of the hour, Bill “Snoopy” Margolin. Bill shared his favorite West End House memories and spoke to the significance of the newly-created Margolin Family Scholarship Fund. This fund will provide young people at West End House with the critical financial support they need to realize their dream of earning a college degree. Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and community members, we raised $30,000 in support of the Margolin Family Scholarship Fund. Click here to make a contribution to Fund.

Thank you to the Event Committee: Gerald Walsh, Chair, William Anthony, John Barr, Valerie Bean, Richard Grealish, Rep. Kevin Honan, Joseph I. Mulligan, III, Ha Nol-Mantia, Jerry Quinn, Sidd Vivek, Joseph Walsh.
