In October, West End House launched its 2016-17 Keystone Club, a long-standing, national teen leadership program focused on academic success, career preparation and community service. We invited eight teen leaders to participate in the Keystone, who are now planning events and making improvements to Club culture, including decorating for Halloween Family Night and organizing a holiday toy drive. Most recently, on November 21, Keystone Club tackled its largest effort yet by cooking broccoli, squash, turkey, and gravy for over 200 homeless families through the coordinated efforts of Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD). Our Keystone Club carpooled downtown to deliver the feast in person as well.
Keystone Club nominated and voted on its officers. This year’s Keystone Club is led by Gigi, Board President; Amenia, Vice President; Regine, Treasurer; and Kalista, Secretary (pictured above).
