Leadership & Life SkillsThrough mentor relationships, career exploration, gender specific programs, and service opportunities, our goal is to support each member’s personal development. Programs are designed to help our young people become the leaders and decision makers of the future. Participation in these programs helps our youth develop the initiative and problem solving skills necessary to stay on-track to graduate high school, enter college or vocational training and successfully transition into adulthood. The following programs ensure that each youth has the opportunity to practice leadership, learn social skills and gain self esteem: Peer LeadershipThe peer leadership program provides a valuable paid employment experience for teens age 14 to 18 at the Club and requires weekly involvement in personal development activities focused on academic success, career exploration and college preparation. Brian J.
